Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article).

Where possible links are written to make sense, even out of context.

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site, here is some more information:

On Windows:

Internet Explorer 5+ or AOL browser 9+ for PC:
Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key, then press ENTER.

Internet Explorer 4 for PC:
Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key.

Netscape 6+ for PC:
Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key.

Mozilla/Firefox for PC:
Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key.

On Macintosh:

Safari 1.3.2+ or Netscape 7.2+ or Mozilla 1.5+ for Mac:
Hold down the CTRL key and select the number/letter of the access key.

Internet Explorer for Mac 5.1+ :
Hold down the CTRL key and select the number/letter of the access key, however Microsoft is no longer developing this application on the Apple Macintosh platform. You may need to use Apple's Safari web browser, which is included in all Mac OSX releases and it can be found by looking in your "applications" folder.

All content images used in this text site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers.

Using Internet Explorer browser, click on View, then choose Text Size or Text from the menu and highlight your preferred size.

Using Mozilla/Firefox browser, click on View, then choose Text Size and select the option to increase, decrease the text size.

Using the Netscape browser, click on the View button and then choose the Increase Font or Decrease Font until the text is the size that suits you best.
